About Pass Canadian Citizenship Test
Who we are
Pass Canadian Citizenship Test is built and operated by Plus 44 Pty Ltd, a company that specialises in citizenship test preparation apps. After building a successful Australian citizenship test app, we applied the same approach to help people preparing for the Canadian citizenship test.
Many existing Canadian citizenship test resources are outdated, rely on questionable question banks, or are cluttered with ads. This app was built to provide accurate, well-structured practice based directly on the official study material.
How the app works
The app contains 280+ practice questions covering all seven categories from the Discover Canada guide, including Canadian history, government, rights and responsibilities, geography, economy, and symbols. Every question includes a detailed explanation referencing the relevant section of the official guide.
The 16 timed mock exams mirror the real test format: 20 questions, 30 minutes, with a 75% pass mark. The real test is taken at an IRCC office, and our mock exams are designed to replicate that experience so there are no surprises on test day.
Our content sources
All questions are based on “Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship,” the official study guide published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The study guide built into the app covers the same material in a format that's easier to review on your phone or computer.
The study guide is available in 13 languages to help people who are still building their English or French skills. The actual test is offered in English or French only, but studying the material in your first language can help you understand the concepts before tackling them in the test language.
Our approach
We track which questions users get wrong most often and use that data to improve our explanations and study materials. The focused practice feature automatically brings back questions you've answered incorrectly so you can work on your weak areas.
The app is available on iOS, Android, and the web. Your progress syncs across all devices so you can study wherever works best for you.
